A physical booklet chart of the Modern Folk Embroidery's "The Rooster Alphabet Sampler"!

For this little sampler I took inspiration from French country samplers. I love the simplicity of the little red school house samplers stitched by many a needle craft student. These samplers would often be adorned with decorative stitches and borders, animals, or the name or initials of the maker. On my pattern I designed a rather proud rooster showing off his beautiful feathers. He’s stitched on a backdrop of little flowers, with a full alphabet on the left hand side.

Chart measures 57 stitches high and 96 stitches wide for a total of 1,868 stitches.
For stitching 1 over 2, you will need 1 skein of Roxy Floss Co floss.
